Leadership Team

Manesh Mathew – Founder & Managing Director

“Healthcare is not just about infrastructure; it is about the capacity to care.”

Manesh Mathew is a seasoned management consultant and social entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the Indian healthcare ecosystem. As the visionary behind Medallion Social Innovators (MSI), he brings a unique “bottom-up” approach to healthcare consulting—believing that sustainable change happens not in the boardroom, but on the ground where care is delivered.

The Bridge Between Corporate Rigor & Social Mission Manesh’s career is defined by his ability to bridge two distinct worlds: high-efficiency corporate healthcare and mission-driven social impact.

  • Corporate Expertise: He played a pivotal role in incubating the Columbia Asia Hospital chain in India in 2002, bringing global standards of operational excellence to the Indian market.
  • Mission-Driven Leadership: He served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Believers Church Medical College Hospital (2016–2018), where he managed complex operations for a large-scale faith-based institution.

Academic & Strategic Foundation Manesh holds a Masters in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE). This academic backbone informs MSI’s core philosophy: that financial viability and social relevance are not mutually exclusive, but are powerful partners in building lasting institutions.
